BFP lands in Argentina: 300 MWp scheduled for construction
BFP was recently commissioned for the final design of a 300 MWp photovoltaic plant in Jujui, Argentina.
The project was the first public tender of its kind announced by the government, with construction scheduled to begin in the upcoming months. BFP was appointed the role by a group of Chinese companies, JEMSE SE, representing a partnership between Power China, Shanghai Electric and Talesun.
BFP’s technical support also proved critical in ensuring the proposing party was able to fulfil the technical requirements of the tender.
The photovoltaic plant, situated on a tableland at more than 4,000 metres above sea level, called for the implementation of complex engineering strategies to cater to the intense operating conditions to which the electrical materials would be exposed, given the high altitude of the installation.
