22.01.2019: BFP acted as technical advisor of Integrated Energy Holdings (“IEH”) on the sale of 34.4 MWp Italian PV Plants to EF Solare Italia
BFP is proud to announce the successful sale, at the end of 2018, by Integrated Energy Holdings (“IEH”), an important investment company held by IAM Capital and Econergy, of its portfolio of 34.4 MWp PV Plants to EF Solare Italia, the largest operator of photovoltaic assets in Italy held by the largest Italian fund F2i.
In this milestone transaction, BFP was appointed by the seller IEH as technical advisor for the sale, with a team composed of Eng. Gianluca Biscotti, Arch. Valentina Mastromarino, Arch. Roberto Sajeva and Eng. Milena Miglionico, that carried out for IEH all the technical Due Diligence services, included administrative check services, technical survey and yield assessment.
The process saw BFP working together with other vendor advisors, such as the IEH’s advisor Prothea, the legal advisor Legance, and the insurance advisor Marsh.
The purchaser EF Solare Italia Spa was assisted by EOS as technical advisor, Arcus as financial advisor and Orrick as legal advisor.
Banca IMI acted as facility agent, while Mediocredito Italiano of Intesa San Paolo Group financed the 34.4 MWp portfolio, that comprises 11 companies for a total of 31 PV plants, all operating and connected to the grid since on average 6 years, and generates electricity for about 50 GWh per year.
Eng. Gianluca Biscotti, Executive Chairman of BFP, thanks all the involved consulting companies for their constructive engagement, as well as BFP’s team for the commitment shown in this operation which lasted more than a year. He also proceeds: “We have just closed an important year that has seen BFP starring with several important customers in different negotiations, most of which successful”.
