20th, 21st AND 22nd MAY 2019: BFP WILL PARTICIPATE TO THE WORKSHOP ENTITLED “FROM POWER TO GAS: THE STORE&GO PLANT IN TROIA (FG)”
Eng. Danilo Pomponio, BFP’s Co-founder, will be one of the speakers of the Workshop to be held at the Palace Hotel in Bari on 20th, 21st and 22nd May 2019.
The workshop concerns the new pilot plant in Troia (Foggia), the only one in Italy, that captures carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, transforming the surplus of wind and solar energy produced in the Apulian mountains into methane.
On Monday 20th May at 17:15 pm, Eng. Pomponio will discuss about the Layout of the plant, i.e. civil works and authorization procedures.
Indeed, BFP GROUP managed and developed the whole project, carrying out Basic and Detail Engineering, Civil and Electrical Construction and related interconnections, Construction Management and Supervision.
The event, sponsored by the Order of Engineers, will explain in detail scope, technologies and economic aspects linked to the so-called “CO2 Monster”.
“This meeting”, Eng. Pomponio declared, “is also a good opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions with university professors and experts of the renewable sector, demonstrating how energy can be produced cleanly and safely without any impact on the environment”.
